Bimonthly “Ekonomista” publishes original scientific texts written in Polish and English devoted to economic problems. All the received texts consistent with journal profile and its editorial standards are subject to double-blind peer reviews and must be accepted by the Editorial Committee.

Journal “Ekonomista” is indexed in Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), ERIH PLUS, Scopus Journal List, Scimago Journal & Country Rank and ICI Journals Master List (Index Copernicus International). Each article includes an abstract in Polish, English and Russian (together with key words and JEL codes), which are available on the editorial page and are reproduced in the Polish bibliographical base BazEkon. English abstracts are also reproduced in international bases, such as ESCI, Scopus and CEJSH (The Central European Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities).

According to the decision of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 30 July 2019, research papers published in “Ekonomista” are given 40 scores.
